Pacific View

The Pacific View project repositioned and transformed a dated coastal office building in Solana Beach into a Class-A, boutique creative office environment. This 2-story building was initially constructed in the early 1980s and featured dated architecture, construction materials, and a confined office configuration. The ownership engaged Dempsey Construction and the design architect very early in working collaboratively through design and budgeting to maximize the design within the desired budget. The scope of improvements delivered:

• Significant demolition of the exterior facade and removal of all interior improvements
• Removal of all window systems and expansion of the window openings
• New improvements delivered new exterior finishes, ACM paneling, Hardie board siding and stucco, operable window sliders within the expanded openings, a new HVAC system, and common core improvements
• The site was reconfigured to create an outdoor amenity area
