Dustin Black joined Dempsey Construction in 2023 and is currently a member of our Field Operations Team.

Dustin Sands joined Dempsey Construction in 2022 as a member of the Fields Operations team. 

Eli Balladares is a Superintendent and has been in the construction industry for 23 years. Eli started a career with Lusardi Construction as a laborer. He set his sights on being a carpenter and signed up for the AGC program, where he graduated as a journeyman carpenter in less than 2 years. Eli soon stepped into the role of leadman, then foreman, and then eventually became Superintendent. As a superintendent, Eli has direct responsibility for job site supervision of subcontractors and their crews, ordering and controlling material and equipment, job scheduling and labor cost controls, coordination and scheduling of city and county agencies, as well as overall coordination and scheduling of all subcontractors. Eli’s interests include spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, and working on cars. He currently resides outside of Temecula with his wife and 2 of their 4 kids.

Emilson Escobar joined Dempsey Construction in 2024 and is currently a member of the Field Operations team. 

Eric Costales joined Dempsey Construction in 2022 as a Superintendent, bringing with him extensive experience in commercial construction. As Superintendent, Eric manages daily on-site activities, coordinates all trade activities to maintain the schedule and budget, complies with OSHA safety standards/regulations, and assures compliance of all work and contract documents. Throughout the project, Costales works to assist the project manager in documenting approved changes, recording daily job logs and as-built drawings, and maintaining strong relationships with the client, architect, and subcontractors through various procedures. At the end of his projects, Eric participates in the project closeout package process supported by his 23+ years working within the construction industry.

Frank Burke joined Dempsey Construction in 2023 as a member of the Field Operations Team out of Las Vegas.

Frank Herrera joined Dempsey Construction in 2021 and is currently a member of the Field Operations team.

As a Assistant Project Manager, Gabriel helps steer projects in the right direction by handling submittals, RFIs, and general coordination between DCI, their subcontractors, project ownership, and the design teams. Gabriel graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2017 with a B.S. in Engineering Physics – Mechanical Engineering. Gabriel wants to instill a sense of pride into everything he does. This means handling every task to the best of his ability, and seeing every decision through. He would like every customer at the end of a project to think, “there’s no way it gets better than this.” Gabriel enjoys spending his free time with his friends and family. He is always up for the challenge of a board game or escape room.

Jack Dirksing joined Dempsey Construction in 2024 as a Project Engineer. A native of Ohio and graduate of University of Cincinnati, Jack has been working in construction since high school, when he worked for his grandfather doing concrete work. In his free time, Jack enjoys being active, running, swimming, and surfing.
